One of my favourite meals so far. This place is definitely a hidden gem- when we went it was pretty empty, and you get to look over the whole town. The food was delicious, lots of flavour and good portion size. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! I will come back each time I visit Italy! This pasta dish was amazing - octopus with a smokey tomato based sauce with smoked ricotta on top. The service was great and had very good banter. I left my plate spotless because I did not want to waste any last bit of the sauce! The view from lunch was also amazing!
We had a great dinner with a great view. Hidden away, up a few flights of stairs on the path to Corniglia, this place is great for dinner and sunset views. The pesto gnocchi was delightful and our fish dish was cooked perfectly. Glad we were able to find this place.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! First of all, the view is breathtaking! Absolutely stunning. The service and friendliness of the staff is unmatched — we had great conversation and wonderful recommendations! The walnut ravioli was to die for! We also had the tiramisu and the way it melted in our mouths? Delicious! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!!!
The vibe was amazing, especially if you sat at the bar during sunset. Great if you love pictures. Food was well plated and tasted good, but the portion size wasn’t very filling and its relative price point was still a bit high. I enjoyed the swordfish, the sauce was amazing, and the pickled onions on top were a nice touch, but I still left feeling like I paid more for the view than I did for the food. Still a five stars because it was worth going at least once.
Couldn’t recommend this place more! Incredible view of the sunset and Vernazza, best fish I’ve ever had (apparently it it’s whatever is caught locally that day), plus a great atmosphere and wonderful service. If you’re not into fish, their pesto gnocchi was excellent too!
This place is an absolute hidden gem! The view was magnificent and the pasta with octopus is one of the best pastas I’ve eaten in Italy so far. The sauce was full of flavour and there was plenty of octopus in my serve. Whilst the cost of the meal was a little pricey (no doubt the view bumps the prices up), the food really was worth it! Would absolutely recommend going here!
We are here for my husbands birthday and out of every place we ate in all of Vernazza this was the best people and food. Ricardo (Ricky) was so personable, which is hard to find in such touristy areas, I get it. The food was out of this world, fish is caught fresh every morning. The view speaks for itself. Family owned restaurant! GET THE CHEESECAKE
